For the current plastic mold industry is highly competitive, mold and injection molding processing costs are highly concerned about the topic of each business. Plastic injection mold manufacturers in the mold design process must consider how to create high efficiency with low cost, how can we do it? Plastic injection mold design need to take into account the following factors.
1. Injection molding cost
According to the size of the machine how much money per beer, so as to determine the way the product row and the number of holes. The more the number of molds, the lower the cost of injection molding. Because in the injection molding process, the costing is calculated according to the number of beers.
2. Product appearance
According to the requirements of product appearance, determine the parting surface. The location of the parting surface should be conducive to mold processing, exhaust, demolding and so on. The more products there are, the greater the risk of appearance problems.
3. Water outlet method
Determine the shape, size, and exhaust orientation of the main flow channel and manifold. Hot runner mold cost is high, but save the cost of water outlet. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, depending on how the customer chooses.
4. Product demolding
Determine the ejection method and layout of the ejector pin position, the more ejection position, the higher the cost of the mold.
Plastic injection mold design also need to consider product shrinkage and injection time, determine the form of cooling or heating and row of cooling channel parts. Consider the life of the mold, determine the mold material hardness, thickness and size of the size and processing difficulty, to determine the molding parts split and do a good job of wire cutting structure shape.
